Electric cars need to be charged and this issue has long been a barrier to electric vehicle ownership, but the world is changing.
A home car charging point is now generally a necessity under planning law on new builds, and as electric vehicle sales explode more and more of us are looking toward an electric car. If you have an electric vehicle you need to be able to charge it. The simplest way to do so is to install an electric vehicle charging point at home.
This allows you to charge your car overnight so that it is ready for you the next morning. Many businesses are also installing workplace charging points so that not only can you charge at home, but also at work. There are three main types of electric vehicle charging points, slow, fast and rapid. Generally, slow chargers are installed at homes, as they provide a steady overnight charge. Fast chargers are often found at supermarkets, retail parks, and workplaces, as they provide a faster electric car charge, and rapid are used at motorway service stations.
