Zappi is one of the leading EV charger manufacturers in the country. The Zappi charger is made here in the UK and embraces everything that we love about our sustainable future.
The intelligent design works with your on site generation of power and allows you to use the solar panels or solar PV on your house to charge your car. You can literally harness the power of the sun and use it to travel.
Energy-efficient? Tick. Green? Tick. Sustainable? Tick.
The Zappi EV charger isn’t just an EV charger it’s a way of living, and we love it.
The Zappi EV charger has three settings. ECO, ECO+ and Fast mode. In fast mode, it charges like a standard EV charger simply charging your electric car up using the electricity from your household energy circuit. However, switch it to ECO or ECO + and watch the magic unfold.
With these modes, your house, car, and renewable energy solutions such as solar panels or a wind turbine, work together to provide dynamic load balancing and the greenest possible charge. In ECO mode the charge is constantly adjusting based on how much power is being used in the house. Your myenergi Zappi charger will continue to charge your car until it is fully charged even if it has to use the power from the main grid.
In ECO + mode, the charger will stop charging if too much power is being used from the main grid, it will resume charging again once there is sufficient power to do so. The myenergi Zappi EV charge point is extraordinary and we are proud to be able to install Zappi EV charge points for our customers.
If you have bought or are considering buying an electric car you are taking steps toward reducing your carbon footprint, and reliance on fossil fuels.
As we change our attitudes towards the world, we start to look around for other solutions to help create a sustainable future. Harnessing the power of the sun through a solar PV system, or the power of the wind through a wind generation system seems the next logical step.
Using a smart EV charger, allows you to create your own green power system, where the natural sunlight or wind is transformed into energy, which can then be distributed through your house and car to where it is most needed. Everything works together without depleting resources from the earth, to create an intelligent power system.
The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme has now been replaced by the EV Chargepoint Grant.
This grant applies to people who live in flats or rental accommodation. If you own your house you can no longer have a home charge point installed using a government grant. The EV Chargepoint Grant will cover up to 75% of the installation cost.
